For the protection of the collection and our visitors, the following policies currently apply when you visit the Center:
Smoking, Food and Drink: Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Center building. Food and drinks (except plastic water bottles) are prohibited in all areas except the kitchen and Learning center.
Wheelchairs and Strollers: Wheelchairs (including motorized) and strollers are permitted in the museum.
Lost and Found: If you think you may have left something behind, call us at 928-567-0066.
Pets: Pets (except service animals) are not permitted anywhere in the Center building.
Photography: Still photography is permitted or private, noncommercial use only. Photographs cannot be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed, or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner. The use of flash is prohibited at all times. Movie and video cameras are prohibited. For safety reasons, tripods and monopods are not permitted at any time. For press and other special photography, including film and videotape projects, please contact the Executive Director to discuss.
Sketching and Copying: Only pencil sketching of items in the display cases is permitted. The use of ballpoint pens, ink, markers, fountain pens, crayon, pastel, charcoal or watercolors outside of the Children's Discovery Area is not permitted. While sketching, please do not hinder visitor traffic flow. During periods of high attendance, the Center reserves the right to make any necessary adjustments to this sketching policy.
