International Archaeology Day (IAD) is a celebration of archaeology and its contributions to society. Every October the Archaeological Institute of American and archaeological organizations around the world, such as the Verde Valley Archaeology Center, present archaeological programs and activities. The VVAC has traditionally held the Annual Gala, our most important fundraising event of the year, on International Archaeology Day.

This year we went digital on October 17 but you can still view the Virtual Program by clicking HERE.

Our traditional Silent Auction also benefited Hopi, Zuni and other Native American artists who are struggling with the closing of their areas from tourists who have been a major source of sales. The Silent Auction and Raffle was a HUGE success, bringing in more donations than at any of our previous "live" events. Winners will be notified via email and will be listed here shortly.

Special thanks to our presenting sponsors Cambium Wealth & Legacy Strategies (formerly Taylor & Huntley Financial Group), and Gerald and Janet Walters.
