MEMBER PRICE IS THE MINIMUM STARTING BID AT THE OCTOBER 19 SILENT AUCTION
The Deer Dancer pendant by Western Apache artist Jerry Whadado is a unique item. This is hand-etched in sterling silver with an Apache Blue Turquioise stone. The etching itself is unique in its detail of the deer dancer. Jerry has received a blue ribbon twice at the Santa Fe American Indian Market and is a highly regarded master silversmith.
The chain is by Loren Kootswatewa, a member of the Hopi Sand Clan. He lives in Kykotsmovi on Third Mesa. He learned from his brothers, Emory and Wayne Sekaquaptewa and has been a painter, carver and silversmith since the 1960's.
